Users can sort by age group, sport, gender, travel range, game and practice frequency, season, distance and cost.  Allteamz is especially useful for families who are new to an area and lack the social contacts to “ask around” and learn about local sports teams. The win for local sports organizations is the opportunity to create profiles on Allteamz. From there, profiles can be filled with as much information as the league/team feels it needs, including cost, age groups, contact information, team philosophy and coach biographies.  ”Put your league or team on Allteamz and more players will flat out find you,” says Ryan.  Leagues and teams can also create “listings,” announcements of upcoming important events. Open tryouts? Create a listing.  New Season? Create a listing.  There are virtually no limits to how often leagues can reach out to their prospective player base.  The best part?  It’s always free.
